Lithuania is one of the first to respond to the appeal of the protectorate restoration of infrastructure in Donbas.
From the beginning of 2018, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Lithuania increased by 17%. On Friday, December 7, said President Petro Poroshenko at a joint press conference with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.
“For the first nine months of the current year the trade turnover between our countries increased by 17%. This is the result of a deep and comprehensive free trade area, which today has proved its efficiency”, – said Poroshenko.
According to him, during the negotiations with the Lithuanian colleague the participants also talked about investment cooperation.
Poroshenko also reminded that Lithuania is involved in several projects in avdeevke (Donetsk region).
“It’s nice when I come to town, I hear from residents pride in the fact that cooperation with Lithuania is developing very effectively. Lithuania is one of the first to respond to my appeal to member States of the EU to accept its protectorate the issue of restoration of infrastructure destroyed in the settlements on the territory of Donetsk region”, – said Poroshenko.
