On the occasion of World Sight Day, Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the Catalan mutualist clinic, Aésio Santé establishment, invites the general public to a morning dedicated to the prevention of eye diseases, with free screenings, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in partnership with the Bayer and Optos laboratories.

On October 16, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Catalan mutualist clinic offers free screenings open to all for two common pathologies.

Two targeted pathologies

AMD (Age-Related Macular Degeneration) Diabetic Retinopathy

These two pathologies, although common, can seriously impair vision if they are not detected in time. This screening action is an opportunity to diagnose them early, thus allowing rapid and effective care.

An immersive experience

In parallel with the screenings, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the effects of AMD and diabetic retinopathy, through an immersive virtual reality experience, allowing a better understanding of these pathologies.
