Pro D2: ASBH shows courage against Colomiers and wins a sixth consecutive victory

After the resounding victory against Aurillac (54-14) Friday January 5, ASBH won again, this time on the pitch of Colomiers (19-23), Thursday January 11. A victory which allows them to consolidate their second place in the ranking.

Béziers pulled away to win. Dominated in the last minutes, the Bitterois nevertheless won 19-23 thanks to superb defense in the final moments of play. A few minutes before, Marques's try (71st) had allowed the ;#39;ASBH to go ahead on the scoreboard before holding on in the final minutes to secure a sixth victory in a row.

At the break, the score was 13-13 between two candidates for the final phase, Colomiers and Béziers. The Haut-Garonnais were unable to gain the upper hand over a Béziers team who knew how to be opportunistic when the opportunity presented itself. The locals scored a try through Larrieu (16th) and points via Girard. Opposite, Béziers responded with a try from Zabala and points scored by the rear Dreuille. Note that both teams received a yellow card via their pillars just before the break.
