Product recall: be careful of these vegetables containing pesticides and sold by Leclerc throughout France

Several batches of vegetables sold by Leclerc stores were the subject of a product recall this Thursday, February 1, 2024 due to the presence of pesticides.

The brand E.Leclerc recalled batches of vegetables in several departments this February 1 due to exceeding the authorized limits of several pesticides: 1,4 dimethylnaphtalene , fludioxonil, prothioconazole-desthio and bixafen. Therefore, it is not recommended to consume them, indicates Rappel Conso.

The first is a cabbage soup mix from the Cœur de jardin brand.

This product was marketed between January 11, 2023 and January 26, 2024 in Aisne, Ardennes, Aube, Gers, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne, Marne, Haute-Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle, Oise, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Hautes-Pyrénées, Seine-et-Marne and the Yonne.

A recall also concerns this vegetable mixture for garbure from the same brand. It was marketed between January 11, 2023 and January 26, 2024 in Ariège, Aude, Aveyron, Cantal, Haute-Garonne, Gers, Hérault, Lot, Pyrénées-Orientales, Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne.

If you hold one of these lots, 46516, 46511, 46563, 46568, 46601, 46612, 46658, 46691, 46684, 46738, 46743, 46790, 46800, 46847, 46853, 46893, 46906, 46960 , 46985, 46906, 47036, 47027, 47075 or 47082, you should not eat these vegetables. The minimum durability date is the same as the previous product. And the barcode is 3352397163026.

Two celery branches concerned

A celery branch from the Cœur de jardin brand is part of this recall. It was sold between January 11, 2023 and January 26, 2024, in the following departments: Charente-Maritime, Corrèze, Côtes-d’Armor, Creuse , Dordogne, Finistère, Gers, Gironde, Landes, Lot, Lot-et-Garonne, Morbihan, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées.

Here are the affected lots: 46511, 46517, 46568, 46611, 46612, 46608, 46654, 46700, 46743, 46800, 46797, 46852, 46853, 46905, 469 06, 46901, 46949, 46996 , 46995, 46992, 47027, 47079, 47082 and 47080. The barcode indicated on the packaging is 3352397029018.

Another celery branch, without brand, also exceeds the authorized pesticide limits. It was marketed on the same dates and in the same departments as the previous celery.
