Product recall: grilled food planned ? be careful of these various chipolatas containing foreign bodies

Le site gouvernemental Rappel Conso alerte sur la présence de corps étrangers et de morceaux d’os dans des lots de saucisses depuis ce 23 mai 2024. Les produit sont vendu par les magasins Lidl et Carrefour dans toute la France.

For several days, several batches of sausages from different brands have been the subject of a voluntary recall throughout France.

Presence of foreign bodies

The "chipolatas with pure pork herbs x6 and x12" from the brand Carrefour have been recalled since Monday, May 27.

Marketed between May 14 and 24, 2024 throughout France by Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores, these chipolatas would contain foreign bodies, the Rappel Conso site not specifying which ones.

Many batches bearing item code 3245415348911 are affected by this recall and their number can be consulted on this list.

Several products from Carrefour

Other sausage meat products sold by Carrefour are recalled for the same reason:

sausage meat 1kg, 500g and 250g vegetable stuffing 1kg, 500g and 250g smoked sausages "Saucisses de Toulouse" :*2 (250g),*4 (500g),*8 (1kg) the superior chipolatas in 12 and 6 chipolata/merguez assortments

The lots bearing the following numbers: C4134276/C4135346, C4134269 /C4135335, C4134268/C4135333, C4134280, C4134285, C4134284, C4136318, C4135451 C, 4134234, C4134232, C4134231, C4134178/C4135199, C4134190 /C4135260, C4134190/C4135260, would be likely to contain foreign bodies such as bones or cartilage.

Chipolatas from Lidl

This recall concerns a product sold by Lidl stores. Marketed between May 14 and 22, 2024, the 660g trays"12 Herb Chipolatas" from the brand "L’tal du Boucher" are recalled.

Sold throughout France, they contain pieces of’bones.

The batches concerned bear the following numbers: the first C4134296 with a deadline of consumption set for May 15, 2024 and the second C4135317 with a consumption deadline set for May 26, 2024.

Do not consume it

If you have purchased these chipolatas, the government site Rappel Conso advises not to consume it as a precaution "due to the risk of injury that the &rsquo could cause ;ingestion of these products" or destroy them.

You can contact consumer service before the recall end procedures and return the product to the point of sale where a refund or exchange will be made.
