Provençal game: at the French doubles championship, a nice move to play for the Gardois

Gérard Sigal et Cédric Horjak (Milhaud) ont assurément les moyens de bien faire. MIDI LIBRE

For three days, in La Crau (Var), some departmental pairs will try to distinguish themselves on the occasion of the ''France'' Provençal game.

The ‘’France’’ Provençal doublet game takes place on September 6, 7 and 8 in La Crau (Var). After the poor performance of the Gardois in the ‘’France’’ triplette, in duo, things should be different. The four qualified teams, with different qualities, have a nice shot to play. The technical terrain will certainly have an impact on the progress of this competition.
The champions of Gard Christian Vargas – Dorian Roussel (Boule joyeuse Beauvoisin), as fine specialists, have the patience and skill essential to go far.

Gérard Sigal, ''dinosaur'' of the discipline

In group 30, with Frèches (Landes), Leveque (Côtes-d’Armor) or Gontier (Savoie), they have a good chance of reaching the 32nd. Among the other Beauvoisinois, it will be Nicolas Durand's first ‘’France’’ but, alongside him, Cédric Bosch remains a hexagonal level triggerman and his guts should stimulate his partner.
In group 24, however, they will have to be wary of Lacroix (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) in order to get out of their series which includes Gatt (Hauts-de-Seine) and Sommer (Oise). In group 16, there is a ''dinosaur'&#39 of the discipline: Gérard Sigal, who has lost none of his qualities, has a decisive knowledge of the game with, at his side, the ex-captain of NO, the enduring Cédric Horjak.

The Bonzi brothers of the game

The players of the Boule des Anges de Milhaud are perfect outsiders. A place in 32nd goes through the series 16 with Martinez (Grand Est), Chartier (Loir-et-Cher). Only Bernal (Vaucluse) could tease them. No need to introduce the brothers Hervé and Olivier Bonzi (Uchaud), who have been breathing the Provençal game since their youngest age and who should make us experience great emotions.
In group 31, La Cann (Manche), Garrion (Ardèche) and Khazal (Val d’Oise) seem within their reach for a place in 32nd. Big names are at the start with, notably Rouvin-Benmostefa, Torres-Torres, Stievenart-Serrano, Cognard-Djafari, Pellegrini-Visensini, Cazzorla-Puig.
