ÉProvincial elections: 2 QS MPs back to defend their place

Candidate nominations are accelerating ahead of next October's provincial election. On Saturday, two deputies from Québec solidaire indeed confirmed that they were returning to the arena to seek a new mandate.

The deputy for Rosemont, Vincent Marissal, thus announced his come back at an event organized in the presence of Françoise David, former co-spokesperson of the party, and Alexandre Leduc.

“Four years ago, I committed myself alongside you to find solutions to your daily challenges and above all to build a green and united society in which no one is excluded. Too many decision-makers hide behind pseudo-pragmatism to justify their inaction, but for me, it's all a question of choice and political courage,” said the candidate.

Another place, same atmosphere in Rouyn -Noranda, where Émilise Lessard-Therrien was officially invested to seek a second term in her riding of Rouyn-Noranda–Témiscamingue.

Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois , the spokesperson for solidarity, was on hand for this announcement.

“My 2018 election broke down doors, we proved that Québec solidaire in the regions is possible! You have to believe that it's in our genetics to open up trails in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, well that one has created a tidal wave of hope in all regions of Quebec,” said launched Ms. Lessard-Therrien during the event.
