François Legault announced on Monday the creation of an action group against racism which will have to propose concrete solutions to next fall to make the fight.
This group will be chaired by the ministers Nadine Girault and Lionel Carmant and will count in its ranks four members of the government and the minister responsible for aboriginal Affairs, Sylvie d’amours.
The recommendations that will make this group expected to affect several sectors, including the public safety, justice, education, housing and employment, said François Legault.
“It is important that we act and I am confident that it is able to work together. It has been affected by what happened in the United States, but at the same time we don’t want to import this climate of confrontation,” said François Legault.
