Ukrainian gymnast Igor Radivilov won the silver medal at the European championship, which takes place in Glasgow.
The Ukrainian played under the penultimate start number in the final vault and knew the results of their major competitors.
The first jump Radivilov performed on 14.733 (5.600 complexity and 9.133) and the second at 15,000 (5.600 9.400 complexity and execution).
In the end, with an average score of 14.866 points, the Ukrainians took second place, losing 0.034 points to Russian Artur Dalaloyan, who defended the title of European champion in this discipline.
This medal was for Radivilova the fifth in the European Championships and second on vault.
Unfortunately, the Ukrainian failed to reach the final in their second special discipline – exercises on the rings.
Note that in addition to Radivilova in the individual finals was Peter Pahnyuk.
In turn, Igor’s wife angelina Radivilova helped the women’s team for the first time in eight years, to go in the team final of the continental championship.
