The brother of Michael Schumacher, who spent 10 years in Formula 1, revealed his homosexuality in an Instagram post, this Sunday July 14, 2024 in the evening.

"The best thing in life is to have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything" .

In an Instagram post published this Sunday, July 14, 2024 in the evening, former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher revealed his homosexuality, including Le Parisien. This post is important because homosexuality remains taboo in the world of high-level sport, particularly Formula 1.

At 49, the brother of Michael Schumacher (7 times world champion and in a coma since 2013) spent 10 years in Formula 1, between 1997 and 2007. Ralf Schumacher was married for 14 years to German television presenter and model Cora Brinkmann, with whom he had one child before divorcing in 2015.
