MONTRÉAL | Saint Joseph’s Oratory will once again welcome the believers and the curious as of 29 June. The reopening will happen in two phases.
“The Oratory is a place of welcome and prayer for thousands of pilgrims and visitors; it is the raison d’être of our sanctuary. We are therefore very pleased to again be able to accommodate them. I thank the many people who are working to establish the outline of an opening in safe places and we will make sure that these measures will be respected”, said Wednesday the father Claude Grou, rector of the Oratory of Saint-Joseph.
As early as 29 June, under the first phase of reopening, people will be able to visit the Oratory, gather in the basilica, the crypt and near the heart of saint brother André, as well as walking in the garden of the way of the cross.
The masses will resume later, other announcements to follow.
