Redonner vie aux véhicules tout en respectant l’environnement, c’est le défi relevé par Julien Moreau, fondateur de Re’Belle Concept à Maraussan. Grâce au "detailing", il rénove et protège les voitures.
An Anglo-Saxon concept, "detailing" aims to embellish a vehicle down to the smallest details. Julien Moreau, founder of Re’Belle Concept, has specialized in this approach to preserve the original materials of vehicles and extend their lifespan. Like real estate home staging, detailing reveals the aesthetic potential of a car. "The idea is to offer a superior quality of finish, well beyond the standards, explains Julien. With a detailing, the value of a vehicle can increase by 15 to 20%."
From a young age, Julien Moreau developed his know-how through a career with the Compagnons du Devoir, from heavy goods vehicle bodywork to the design of racing vehicles, including truck sales. In 2017, he created Re’Belle Concept in a small workshop in Béziers before moving to a 600 m² space in Maraussan in 2020. "I started small, but very quickly, I was able to count on the trust of more and more customers, owners of old vehicles, buyers of new or used cars and enthusiasts", he says. His approach goes beyond simple renovation: he even improves the finishes of new vehicles. “On a Tesla, for example, where the paint can have defects, our work aims to make it more resistant. Even on Ferraris, we correct small imperfections from the factory for a perfect finish”.
“Minimizing our impact on the planet”
In a changing automotive sector, where ecology is taking on an increasing role, Re’Belle Concept favors environmentally friendly techniques. This is the case for paintless dent removal on dents and hail damage, which avoids a trip to a traditional body shop, reduces the use of polluting products and allows for rapid interventions. “Our goal is to restore the vehicle's shine while minimizing our impact on the planet", Julien emphasizes. He also uses biodegradable products at optimized dilution rates to best preserve the environment. Re’Belle Concept works in partnership with "Alchimy 7", a French brand of which Julien is an official distributor. "Each product passes through our workshop to be tested in real conditions. This allows me to best advise my clients, both individuals and professionals". Its long-term ambition: to focus more on promoting these products and advising professionals to encourage responsible vehicle renovation practices.
