Rebels : 3 good reasons to see the new film Audrey Lamy and Cécile de France

After The Invisible, Audrey Lamy returns to the Rebels, a comedy completely off the wall, alongside Cécile de France and Yolande Moreau. The film, directed by Allan Mauduit, arrives to the cinema this Wednesday, march 13, 2019, but in the meantime, PRBK gives you 3 reasons to go see it.

Since his departure from Scenes of households, Audrey Lamy went on to film projects : Simon and Theodore, Ma Reum (alongside Florent Peyre), The Invisible and Nicky Larson of Philippe Lacheau. His last project in date ? Rebel, a film directed by Allan Mauduit.

The pitch ? Sandra (Cécile de France), ex-Miss Nord Pas de Calais, returned to live with his mother after his break-up with her companion a violent… before being hired at the cannery local. Wanting to fend off the advances of her boss, she kills him accidentally. Sandra, Marilyn (Audrey Lamy) and Nadine (Yolande Moreau) discover then a bag full of tickets… nothing will ever be as before after that. Here’s why you should not miss it in cinemas from the 13th march.

1. A trio of shock

Allan Mauduit would surely not have been better to choose as the trio for his film the Rebel. Audrey Lamy, Yolande Moreau and Cecile de France form a team of shock and their characters are completely strongly through their differences : one has the badass completely off the wall (Marilyn), the mother of a family at the end (Nadine) and the former Miss beauty rebel (Sandra). The three actresses perfectly represent the “Girl Power” new generation and are not afraid to get dirty to save their skin. It is valid 100% this trio !

2. A comedy totally different

The effortless charm of this comedy is, no doubt, his off-beat and crazy… you could even say WTF. If it brings together most of the codes of this genre, it stands out by its scenes trash, staggering and sometimes gore : rarely seen like that, who dare, and who are not afraid of the extreme. There is a small on the american side with humour the French, but in any case, you might be surprised by going to see the Rebels, particularly by a sequence in particular. Scene that has a small side Tarantinesque.

3. For the haircut of Audrey Lamy

The hairstyle of Audrey Lamy could only appear in our good reasons to go and see the film by Allan Mauduit ! This is the first time that the former star of Scenes of household change your look and we offer a hair cut mythical and enough vintage that may come as a surprise to more than one. But as explained by the actress in an interview with PRBK, his fringe brown, cut very short, is a false : only the bottom is natural.
