A man shot dead after being beaten up 

#NIMES – Shot dead after an assault. A man in his thirties was killed on Chemin-Bas-d’Avignon on Sunday in Nîmes around 10:30 p.m. He was allegedly first assaulted during a fight between the five or six individuals present. The victim was allegedly stabbed before being shot. Local residents witnessing the scene tried to intervene to remove the thirty-year-old from the vehicle in which he had taken refuge. An investigation is underway to try to identify the perpetrators of the shootings who are still on the run.

250 kg of food seized from street vendors

#MONTPELLIER – As part of the fight against illegal vendors at the wild Mosson market in Montpellier, a new crackdown was launched on Sunday. The Feria beats its record with 1.05 million visitors
