At the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium, the Blues played their second group match of these Paris 2024 Olympic Games against Canada, this Sunday, July 28 and they lost at the end of added time (1-2).

Still feverish

After a hard-won victory in their first match against Colombia (3-2), Les Bleues were knocked out by the reigning Olympic champions and will have to qualify on the final day against New Zealand. For its part, Canada can still believe in qualifying despite its 6 penalty points.

In addition to the defeat, the French team also lost Peyraud-Magnin and Renard to injuries. Additional tests will be important to know the duration of their unavailability.
