Retailers continue their destocking operation

Created somewhat by accident during the heatwave of 2023, the destocking operation is on the way, under the impetus of downtown traders, to becoming permanent.

After a first edition organized in 2023 to compensate for the cancellation of the August 24 fair due to the heatwave, the Alès commerce en ville association (Acev) has decided to repeat the Clearance operation in downtown stores.

The traders have been taking out their racks since Friday morning and are continuing the operation all day Saturday in the streets of the city center.

For customers, it's time to come and enjoy, before the start of the school year, a wide choice of products, ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, tableware, furniture and decoration at low prices prices, or even to discover the new products in the shop windows of the city center.

"Parking is free at the Sauvage square, near the cathedral, at the fairground where shuttles are free, specifies Frédéric Brunel, president of the Acev, or if you park for less than two hours in the structure car parks of Centr’Alès, Maréchale and Place des Martyrs, or one hour on the surface in zone A."
