The Sète Doyen Lions Club intends to support, once again, innovative and sustainable solutions in the cultural, social, environmental, disability and social and medico-social action sectors in the region. The call is launched until April 27.

For the fourth year, the Lions Club Sète Doyen is relaunching its major "call for projects", intended to encourage project leaders to approach it, and thus structure the grant requests which are made to him. "The objective is to support, accompany, promote and reward associations, companies, or individuals, who have a project, explain David Farran, the president of the local delegation, and Michel Bodart, historic member of the office. The idea is to bring out innovative and sustainable solutions, in the cultural, social, environmental, disability and social and medico-social action sectors, in our territory. "

In three editions, the Lions Club Sète Doyen distributed nearly 20,000 € to ten local initiatives

Made up of 23 members, the local service club created, in 2020, this event which rewards promising and concrete projects. "It's not humanitarian. It’s first and foremost humanism, continues Michel Bodart. We are not a bank, we do not limit ourselves to handing over a check. There needs to be a real project behind it. We know where the money goes. The question we ask is not "How much do you want ?", but "What do you need ?&quot ;. In fact, in three editions, the Lions Club Sète Doyen distributed nearly 20,000 € to ten local initiatives.
