These demonstrations are part of Erasmus + and will take place on Saturday, September 21, at the Lou Clapas gymnasium in Montpellier.

After a first in February, a second rhythmic gymnastics masterclass will take place at the Lou Clapas gymnasium in Montpellier on Saturday, September 21. It will involve two 2021 Olympic champions in Tokyo, in a group, the Bulgarians Simona Dyankova and Laura Traets. They follow their compatriots Erika Zafirova and Stefani Kiryakova.

Challenges to be completed on a phone application

As in the first one, these demonstrations are part of Erasmus +, a programme for education, training, youth and sport, which Bulgaria won by proposing a telephone application (challengeyourself.app) with challenges to be carried out according to levels.

“There are about sixty participants for the day. Some will be there in the afternoon for the Bulgarian gymnasts, others in the morning for Maëlle Millet,” explains Alexandra Konova, the head of the Montpellier espoir pole.

This one is in full renewal after the Olympiad, since the same Maëlle Millet has retired from sports and continues her studies in UFR Staps in Toulouse, while Lily Ramonatxo has headed to Italy to give another direction to her career. The succession is ensured by Zoe Barr-Scialom in the seniors.
