Two teenage girls, 17-year-olds have been seriously injured in a violent collision Tuesday morning in Saint-Isidore-de-Clifton, near Sherbrooke.
The accident involving a car and a pickup truck occurred around 9: 45, at the corner of the road of Clifton East and route 253.
The circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been established.
The occupants of the car, both aged 17, suffered serious injuries during the impact. They were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
In the early afternoon, the state of health of one of them would have improved, and the young woman would now be in a stable state.
However, the other was fighting always for her life.
The driver of the pickup truck, who was alone on board, it is drawn with minor injuries.
An analyst in the investigation of a collision of the Sûreté du Québec was dispatched to the scene to try to understand the cause and the circumstances of the accident.
