Road resurfacing works on the A75 in Aveyron between l'Hospitalet du Larzac, la Couvertoirade and Cornus

The road resurfacing work on the A75 is planned by the Massif Central interdepartmental road department from Monday September 9 to Friday September 20 in the Clermont-Ferrand/Béziers (North-South) direction. 

As part of the maintenance of the national road network, the Massif Central interdepartmental road department will carry out road resurfacing work on the A75. The operation will take place from Monday 9 to Friday 20 September in the municipalities of L'Hospitalet du Larzac, La Couvertoirade and Cornus in Aveyron.

The work will take place on the roadway in the Clermont-Ferrand-Béziers direction (North/South). At the construction site, traffic will be diverted to one lane of the opposite roadway in the Béziers-Clermont-Ferrand (South/North) direction. Traffic will therefore be two-way on this roadway (one lane in each direction), over a distance of 4.8 km.

Diversions implemented

In the North/South direction, the slip roads of interchange no. 48 L’Hospitalet will be closed to traffic. A diversion will be set up for the A75 entrance slip road at interchange no. 48. To reach the A75, users will have to take the direction of Béziers via the RD809 and RD609 then join the motorway via interchange no. 49 (Le Caylar)

A diversion will be set up by interchange no. 47 (La Cavalerie) and will also affect the Cornus, L'Hospitalet du Larzac and Alzon directions. The exit ramp from the Larzac area will also be closed, users will have to head north, a diversion will be set up by the interchange no. 47 (The Cavalry).

Speed ​​limited to 80 km/h

The speed will be limited to 80 km/h in the two-way traffic zone of the A75 and occasionally to 50 km/h in the traffic switching zones from one carriageway to the other. Users' attention is drawn to the need to respect speeds and safety distances.

The passage of exceptional transport will be prohibited throughout the duration of the work. Whether in the direction concerned by the works, if the width of the convoy is greater than 3.50 m or if its length is greater than 25 m. But also in the opposite direction, if the width of the convoy is greater than 4.20 m.
