Rugby: RC Rougier in final phase mode against JS Iboscéenne

Ce dimanche, le XV de Camarès joue son premier match de la phase finale (15h) et espère vivre d'aussi belles émotions que les saisons précédentes.
After winning the local shield last weekend against Espalion, RC Rougier has no time to breathe. This Sunday at home (3 p.m.) he plays the round of 16 of the Occitanie challenge. The South Aveyron XV is opposed to the Jeunesse sportif Iboscéenne XV, a club from the Hautes-Pyrénées, promoted this season and which has the particularity of having a reserve.
A third participation in a row
This is the third season in a row that Rougier has participated in the final stages. In the previous two, he reached the semi-finals of the Occitanie championship and the French championship and lost them all. A feat which still left a lot of frustration for a club which hopes to go further. For this first match, Roland Roques, the coach of RC Rougier, is relatively calm: "We know almost nothing about this team. We will need to demonstrate mastery of discipline. Whatever happens, it will be up to us to play the game. We will be almost complete. Grégory Combes who injured his elbow on Sunday will not be present."
The support of supporters will once again be essential. They will openly encourage the women who for their last championship match will be opposed to Rodez. It will be the rugby festival at the Lagarde de Camarès stadium.
