Rugby union: on its field, RC Sète raises the bar with style

Les Sétois ont mis fin à la série de défaites en s'imposant 41-17, ce dimanche 21 janvier, face à Marseille.
The Sétois, now led by Michel Milovic, have successfully returned to competition. The start of the match was complicated and there were many whistles. Fortunately, Viatte missed two penalties. But a quarter of an hour into the game, Millan broke through the defense and made a try (0-7).
The Sétois reacted with a strong moment in the Marseille 22 and Ragno ended up crossing the line (7-7). It was then Michel's turn to make his team's domination a reality (16-7).
Reactions, then acceleration
That said, the Phocaeans had not yet given up. In a small personal exploit, De Luca slipped between the posts and, three minutes later, Viatte passed a penalty to get back in front (16-17).
The response from RC Sète would then be collective, with good work from the forwards concluded by Espinosa (23-17, 55th). The locals had just taken back control and they were not going to let go. Michel widened the gap at the foot (29-17), Droitecour completed his excellent match with a try (34-17) and Ragno's aggressiveness allowed the nail to be hammered home in the 73rd minute: 41-17.
After conceding six defeats in a row, RC Sète seems to have healed its wounds. To be confirmed this Sunday at Isle sur la Sorgue.
