Rugby union: RC Sète falls with honors in the Isle arena

Les Sétois se sont inclinés 14-13, ce dimanche 28 janvier, dans un contexte un peu tendu.
The return to grace is not without obstacles, RC Sète encountered one this Sunday. At Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Michel Milovic's men, sanctioned with two red cards during the game, actually had to deal with a context that was unusual to say the least. & ;quot; The referee warned us before", declared the Sète coach. "There were two sideline referees paid by the home club, a game director, the gendarmerie… And we played in a bullfight atmosphere, with constant insults coming from the stands, to the point that the speaker had to intervene to ask them to stop…"
A balance to find
And the referee drew his hand very quickly, with a first red after ten minutes of play. "The cards were for playing accidents, out of the fight. On an offensive tackle, with speed, it can happen that your leg comes off a little. The rules were applied to the letter, without worrying about the game."
Leading 11-3 at half-time, the Sétois then woke up and they didn't miss much to win despite everything (14-13). "They had to be “pricked”. They had a great performance in the game, the forwards played a titanic match. The team is progressing and must also progress in the discipline, not everyone understands this yet. But it’s encouraging, we take a bonus point, we give a good image in terms of rugby. It's up to us to find the balance between play and discipline."
