New Zealand second row Scott Barrett was named captain of the All Blacks by coach Scott Robertson on Monday, particularly with a view to the two test matches against England in July.< /p>

Barrett, 30, succeeds Sam Cane, who will retire internationally at the end of the year and had made it known that he was already giving up the captaincy. The Crusaders player, who has 69 caps, will have third row Ardie Savea as vice-captain as well as his own brother Jordie Barrett (27 years old).
