Saint-Jean-de-Védas: a Traveler settlement that lasts in front of the CFA de la Lauze

David Klein, president of CFA Profortech, in Zac de la Lauze, and tenant of the site, has not hidden his exasperation since December 20, 2023.
We know that Travelers regularly settle on public or private land, which does not fail to pose a problem. New case to date in Saint-Jean-de-Védas: an installation in the private parking lot of CFA Profortech, 4, rue Jacqueline-Auriol, in the Zac de la Lauze.
According to David Klein, president of the structure and tenant of the site, “the installations of caravans and cars began on December 20, 2023. We immediately contacted the gendarmerie, continues the director, and the file would have been transmitted at the prefecture. But since then there has been no news, nothing has changed."
"Interns forced to pass between caravans"
David Klein specifies: "Today, some have left, but others have taken over. The caravans are connected to our water supply and, for electricity, to a room adjoining ours."
Admitting "no longer knowing what to do", the business manager adds: "In addition to the harm and damage that this entails, this uncontrolled installation bothers us enormously. Firstly because our service providers are currently refusing to intervene on our site due to the presence of travelers in the parking lot, which seriously hampers our activities and impacts the quality of our services. But also because our interns are forced to pass between the caravans to enter and exit the establishment."
A daily situation "difficult to manage" from which David Klein does not see the outcome. To be continued.
