Saint-Pons-de-Thomières: prosecuted for theft they say they were on mushrooms

Un homme et une femme étaient poursuivis pour des faits de cambriolage et tentatives de cambriolage dans le Tarn et à Saint-Pons-de-Thomières.
A couple was prosecuted for burglary and attempted burglary in Tarn and in Saint-Pons-de-Thomières. The man was placed in detention for 18 months. He was sentenced to one year in prison, to which was added a suspension of a previous conviction which was revoked for six months. He has a criminal record of 22 convictions.
His partner was sentenced to six months of detention which she can have adjusted by a sentence enforcement judge. She was only prosecuted for the burglary of a house in Tarn.
With his companion, they had stolen a tablet which was confined to their home in Maureilhan. To defend themselves, they preferred to insist on the fact that they were at the mushrooms and not stealing from a house: "Your mushroom story n&rsquo ;did not really convince", the president of the court explained to them.
The prosecution had requested, for the man, six months of detention for the burglary and the attempt, as well as the revocation of the six-month suspended sentence and finally a sentence of four months of detention for the woman.  ;She can have her sentence adjusted.
