Seniors from Millau retirement homes gathered for a festive lunch in the village hall

Tradition and conviviality on the menu of the retirement home meal organized by the City and the CCAS (communal social action center) this Wednesday noon at the Millau village hall. Gathered in large tables covered in white, no less than 116 residents of the different nursing homes in the city of the gant (Terrasses des Causses, les Charmettes, the UPHV des Charmettes les Cheveux d’Ange, Les Cheveux d’Ange and les Fleurines ) enjoyed the sound of music from the last century.

A 103-year-old senior

Among the deans are Ms. Baldet (103 years old), Ms. Lasserre (99 years old) and Ms. Suquet (95 years old) as well as Ms. Fabie (95 years old) and Ms. Mazerand (91 years old). An entertainment, like the aperitif, offered by the association Les amis des Terrasses des Causses.

The meal was provided by the central kitchen of Millau (and therefore offered by the City of Millau and the CCAS). On the menu: zucchini soup with basil, veal blanquette with basmati rice, Larzac cheese, flaune, wine and coffee.
