Tahjana Lewis, who was directly behind the passenger who ordered the drink, was seriously burned during the incident. She mentions burns "serious" and "disfiguring" on the upper chest, breasts, legs, left buttocks and right arm, with "disfigurement and scarring on the five areas affected by the burns", according to the complaint.
