A young Turkish influencer, a social media star, ended her days on Monday, September 23 at the age of 26.

Kubra Aykut, a Tiktok influencer, tragically died after falling from the fifth floor of a luxury apartment building in Turkey, reports the Daily Mail.The body of the 26-year-old woman, who became famous worldwide thanks to her viral videos “Marriage without a groom”, was found in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul on Monday, September 23.

A suicide note was reportedly found near her body, Turkish media reported. The social media star, who has a million followers on TikTok and over 200,000 on Instagram, had her fans worried after posting her recent weight loss posts.

Married to Herself

She recently wrote: “I've gotten stronger, but I can't seem to gain weight. I'm losing a kilo a day. I don't know what to do, I urgently need to gain weight.” Police launched an investigation and her body was taken for an autopsy to a private hospital. Her remains were then taken back to her hometown of Bursa, where her parents live and where she was born, for burial.

Fans flooded the young Turkish woman's TikTok page with tributes. The last video she shared shortly before her death showed her meticulously cleaning her apartment. She had become famous after throwing an elaborate wedding without a partner in 2023.
