Une souris, apparemment cachée dans un plateau-repas, a interrompu le vol Oslo-Malaga ce mercredi 18 septembre. L'appareil, conformément aux procédures établies, a été obligé de se poser.
The discovery of a mouse, apparently from a passenger's meal, forced a SAS airliner to make an impromptu stop, a spokesman for the carrier said on Friday, September 20.
The plane was due to fly from Oslo to Malaga on Wednesday when the stowaway was discovered on board, leading the plane to interrupt its flight and land in Copenhagen.
Extremely rare
"In accordance with our procedures, there was an exchange of planes for a inspection" of the aircraft, SAS spokesman Øystein Schmidt told AFP. "This is something that happens extremely rarely," he assured.
The incident does not seem to have dampened the passengers' good mood.
"Believe it or not. “A lady next to me (…) opened her food and a mouse jumped out,” wrote passenger Jarle Børrestad on his Facebook page, along with a photo showing him smiling next to two other women, who were also smiling.
The passengers were flown to Malaga on another flight. “We have established procedures for such situations, which also include a review with our suppliers to ensure this does not happen again,” said Schmidt.
