She leaves the Health Magazine: the moving farewell of presenter Marina Carrère d’Encausse in front of Michel Cymes

This Friday, May 31, 2024, Marina Carrère d’Encausse said goodbye to Health Magazine after 26 years of presenting the show. The host will continue in En quest for health, still on France 5.

A page turns. Marina Carrère d’Encausse leaves this Friday the Health Magazine, the emblematic show which popularizes and makes known many more or less rare ailments. After 26 years of presenting these subjects every day of the week at 1:40 p.m. on France 5, she bids farewell to the show, but not to the channel, reports France Info.

Last appearance this Friday

“Turning a page of 26 years is something special”, she confides. On the occasion of her last appearance, “there are many former participants who came back for this show, like Michel Cymes, of course, and it was a great moment of joy, emotion, a little bit of sadness. It was very beautiful"

Because "the magazine was not essential, but doing health on the public service was absolutely essential", she believes.

A head full of projects

Marina Carrère d’Encausse intends to continue working for many years, as her mother did before her. This is evidenced by her new projects that she confides to our colleagues: a new novel, the production of social documentaries, and of course her show In search of health, still on France 5.

As for the Magazine de la santé, it will be presented by Doctor Jimmy Mohamed from the start of the school year. The program had almost disappeared a few weeks ago, but the strong mobilization of the team had pushed the management of France Télévisions to keep it .
