She would need at least “5,000 euros” per month: retired, Isabelle Balkany says she “sticks out her tongue like all French people”

Isabelle Balkany was a guest of Jordan De Luxe in the show Chez Jordan on C8, this Wednesday February 28, 2024. The former deputy mayor of Levallois-Peret Patrick Balkany spoke about the couple's financial difficulties.
 

"We live in a big house that needs to be maintained (…) We are like all French people, water has increased, electricity is increasing, fuel oil is increasing, everything is increasing. We have trouble and we stick out our tongues like everyone else", confided Isabelle Balkany on the set of Jordan De Luxe on C8, this Wednesday February 28, 2024.

"It's not enough"

Isabelle Balkany spoke about the financial difficulties of the couple she forms with Patrick Balkany, highlighting the increases in a good number of bills for the house in which she lives "for 35 years" and to which she is " particularly attached".

"It's complicated"

Isabelle Balkany admitted to having a comfortable income while believing that "that's not enough (…) If we were in a studio yes , but not in a big house, she continued. "It's complicated, it there are lots of things".

"I notice"

When the presenter asks: "You need at least 5,000 euros ?", Patrick Balkany's wife responds in the affirmative and acquiesces. "I note that the purchasing power of the French has dropped considerably  and ours too. That's it, period."  His words are sure to provoke a reaction.
