BOISBRIAND | A residence of the street Windfall, in Boisbriand, in the Lower Laurentians, has been the target of one or more shooters in the morning, Sunday.
According to the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-De Blainville, who has opened an investigation into the event, shots were fired a little before 4 h.
“Detonations would have been heard by the citizens of the area, police said in a press release in the morning. The raking done by the police did not locate the suspect, a security perimeter was erected. The investigators are currently working to meet witnesses in order to establish the exact circumstances of the event.”
The assistance of a dog handler and forensic document experts from the Sûreté du Québec has been requested to clarify this matter.
No one was injured during this event, said the police.
Clues were found at the scene, stated inspector Serge Harvey to the QMI Agency during a phone interview, declining to say whether it is or is not of bullet cartridges.
