Updated at 3.15 p.m. – Six new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Estrie in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of cases to nine in total in the region. All these people were returning from a trip abroad. Estria experienced the largest increase in cases in the province.
The Quebec government updated its data at 3 p.m. Tuesday, increasing the number of cases detected to 74 in Quebec. At 9 p.m. Monday evening, the number was 63 Quebecers affected by the coronavirus.

Estrie thus becomes the third region most affected by the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Quebec after Montreal with 22 cases and Montérégie which has 13.

During the first three days of operation of the Sherbrooke and Granby clinics, 545 tests were performed in Granby and 626 in Sherbrooke.
By Tuesday noon, 39 new tests had been done in Granby and 52 in Sherbrooke during the morning.
In Quebec so far, 3,700 tests have been analyzed, of which 74 have tested positive. There are still 3500 cases waiting to be analyzed. Across Quebec, patients report waiting for their test results since Thursday and Friday.
