Sloths found dead at airport

Three sloths were found dead inside a plane that couldn't take off due to the cold, at Liege Airport, Belgium. 

According to information reported by La Libre, the sloths would have died due to the cold. They were nine to be transported in this plane which made the connection between Peru and Qatar. However, the animals spent a long time in the aircraft, which was paralyzed by snow and ice, during the weekend of January 21.

An investigation has been opened to shed light on the events. The Walloon Minister of Animal Welfare is considering consequences if the investigation reveals fault to those involved in this sad story.
