"Les pollens de graminées seront bien présents dans l’air pour gêner les allergiques pour ce week-end de la fête des mères."
Sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes and nasal congestion… As in most of the country, grass pollens are present this weekend in South Aveyron with a “high” allergy risk, confirms the Network National Aerobiological Surveillance (R.N.S.A.).
Plained to the ground with the recent stormy showers, grass pollens take advantage of the milder weather to flutter again, causing the inconveniences listed above for allergic people. high risk of allergy unfortunately continuing for several more weeks before decreasing towards the end of June. A first concentration peak in Aveyron is expected on Tuesday May 28.

"The risk of allergy will be low for other flowering herbaceous plants (plantain and sorrel) and for oak pollen. Pinaceae pollen (pine, fir, spruce…) may yellow exterior surfaces but they are not allergenic. Linden trees begin flowering and can cause symptoms near them. A word of advice: don't stay under a lime tree!", warns the R.N.S.A.
If you suffer from allergies, it is therefore advisable to rinse your hair in the evening, air it out for at least 10 minutes a day before getting up and after sunset. It is also better to avoid outdoor sporting activities which lead to overexposure to pollen.
