Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 Video Game From Digital Store After Catastrophic Launch

Sony announced Thursday night that it was removing the Cyberpunk 2077 video game from its online platform PlayStation Store worldwide, citing the need to preserve “customer satisfaction” as many critics pointed to a number awesome bugs.

“SIE (Sony Interactive Entertainment) strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, and therefore we will begin to offer refunds” to players and remove the game from the online store “until further notice”, wrote Sony’s Video Games division on its US and Australian sites, among others.

Last week CD Projekt Red (The witcher), the Polish studio has announced that it has already reimbursed its development costs for the game thanks to eight million pre-orders.
