Sound problems on Twitter: Chaotic campaign start for Ron DeSantis

Several netizens raised connection issues during Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' campaign launch in an audio exchange on Twitter on Wednesday. 

While hundreds of thousands of people tuned in to hear Ron DeSantis, a technical glitch silenced the conversation, according to the BBC.

The issue appears to have been restored shortly thereafter.

President Joe Biden took advantage of Musk and DeSantis' woes to share a link to his presidential campaign.

Ahead of the start of the trade, DeSantis released a video of his US presidential bid announcement to much fanfare from 2024.

“I'm running [to become] president, to lead America's comeback,” he says.
