Star Wars 9 : this new trailer centered on Kylo Ren contains a spoiler
Less than a week of the release of Star Wars 9 : the Ascent of Skywalker, you thought not being able to be spoilés on the film ? Think again ! This time, it is not the fault of a leak but well… a trailer. Unveiled on Thursday 12 December (either in J-6 of the French release), it reveals a key element of the film worn by Daisy Ridley, John Boyega or Adam Driver. Discover it on your own risk !
For months, Disney has kept quiet about Star Wars 9 : the Ascent of Skywalker, the last installment of the saga dedicated to the famous family. But since the release is getting closer, the studios swing videos to mass, revealing more of the plot of the film. The last date confirms one of the theories of the fans.
Kylo Ren manipulated by Palpatine
At the revelation of the title and the very first trailer for Star Wars 9 last April, we discovered the great return of Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid). As a surprise, since the big bad of the previous two trilogies is supposed to be dead at the end of episode VI and that it has not been mentioned in The Awakening of the Force, or The Last of the Jedi. Quickly, some fans of the series have thought that it might be related to Kylo Ren (Adam Driver)… and they were not wrong !
This is a brand new trailer that’s just to confirm : unveiled by Disney, it contains all-new footage where we can see Kylo Ren to explore a temple on an unknown planet. We can then hear the voice of Palpatine to make a big revelation : it is he who has manipulated Ben Solo for years. “My boy. I have been each voice you heard in your head” can you hear. One thing that suggests that Palpatine could be related to Snoke, the Supreme Leader killed by Kylo Ren in the Last of The Jedi and that was supposed to be the one that has caused his fall in the dark side of the Force. A revelation strong so, a few days before the release of the film.
Star Wars 9 : the Ascent of Skywalker arrives this Wednesday, December 18, in rooms.
