Swimming: young Alésiens fish for 23 medals in the waters of Toulouse

Treize licenciés du CNCA ont participé, ce week-end, aux championnats d'Occitanie.

Thirteen swimmers from the Cévennes-Alès Nautical Circle (CNCA) participated, on June 29 and 30, in Toulouse, in the Occitanie long course swimming championships. And they came back with 23 medals!

The triumph of Louka Gil

Louka Gil won six titles in six races, among 12-year-olds, even breaking records: 50 m and 100 m freestyle, 50 m , 100 m and 200 m backstroke, and 200 m backstroke. At the same time, Mélia Cotingarin won the 100m backstroke, finished second in the 200m and third in the same specialty. Chloé Varraud Ibanez won in the 800m freestyle and finished second in the 200m butterfly. Maïlys Sagit won four silver medals and one bronze medal. Lylou Girard left the pink city with five bronze medals. And Kamil Chetoui won a silver medal and a bronze medal.

At the same time, in each category, the Occitanie swimming league rewarded the three best swimmers with the "complete swimmers" and "four swimmers&quot trophies ; ; Louka Gil, Maïlys Sagit and Chloé Varraud Ibanez were in the spotlight.
