Swiss chard, spinach and feta spanakopitas
|UPDATE DAY
Swiss chard is a leafy vegetable that we rarely cook, which is inexpensive, full of iron and vitamins and very tasty. There is green, yellow, red and even white Swiss chard. It is similar to spinach but with a slightly firmer texture while having a similar taste. The “spanaki” sound means spinach in modern Greek and the “pita” sound means dough. Added with feta cheese, oregano and fenugreek, these little puff pastries are perfect for happy hours on the terrace or even in the middle of winter with ingredients easily accessible all year round in supermarkets.
Bon appetit!
