Félix Lebrun faced the South Korean Jang Woojin this Thursday, May 9 in the quarter-final of the Saudi Smash. The Frenchman saw his journey come to an end.
Félix Lebrun (5th in the world) played for a place in the final four of the Saudi Smash this Thursday, one of the most important tournaments of the year. He faced the formidable South Korean Jang Woojin, only 20th in the world but defeated the legend Ma Long two rounds earlier.
And as expected, Woojin was tough! Too much for the Montpellier prodigy, strong throughout the game but too fair against a player with great confidence. Final score: 4-1 (12-10, 11-8, 6-11, 11-7, 11-7). Despite everything, Félix had a quality tournament and can concentrate on the upcoming events.
Quelle journée hier ! 💥
