Teachers' strike on February 1: which schools will be impacted in Millau ?

Suite à l'appel à la grève des enseignants ce jeudi 1er février, les écoles de Millau sont impactées. Le point sur la situation qui attend parents et élèves. 

In addition to the farmers' movement which continues to grow, teachers will also be on strike, following a national call this Thursday, February 1st. If in Aveyron, the only gathering is planned in Rodez, the schools of Millau will be affected by this social movement. 

In total, 38% of teachers will be on strike in Millau and 12% among specialized territorial agents of nursery schools (Atsem) and staff. The Crès school will be the most impacted with 100% of teachers on strike. However, a minimum service will be provided, with a canteen, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:25 p.m. at the Albert-Seguier school (Crès maternal). "It is reserved for children with both parents work", indicates the City of Millau in a press release.

A minimum service provided for four schools

At Jules-Ferry (elementary and primary), 33% of teachers will be on strike and 63% of staff at elementary school. "Daycare and canteen will be provided", indicates the City of Millau. "For classes whose teachers are on strike: a minimum service with a canteen is provided at the Albert-Séguier school, for children whose two parents work."

For the school Jean-Henri-Fabre, 63% of teachers will be on strike, 43% at Edouard-Alfred-Martel and 57% to Eugène-Selles. Same song for these schools, the minimum service will be provided at the Albert-Séguier school for students whose teachers are on strike.

No canteen in two establishments

For schools Jean-Macé and Paul-Bert,&amp ;nbsp;the canteen will not be provided, there will be no daycare between 12 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. Daycare will be provided from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 4:25 p.m. to 6:25 p.m. Only the schools of Beauregard and Puits-de-Calès  will operate normally in Millau, on this national strike day.
