Eliminated in the first round of the Open Sud de France by the American Michael Mmoh (6-3, 7-5), Nîmes Benjamin Bonzi cannot escape the tunnel.
What are your feelings after this match against Michael Mmoh (6-3, 7-5 defeat), where you seem to be in the match but it depends on the details.. .
That’s a bit of a summary of the match. I have some used ones before him whom I do not convert. I don't save the balls that I have to save. Apart from one game each, we are not put in too much danger on our throws but I don't make it happen.
I give way too many points. I’try to create, to bring my game a little… It's sure that&rsquo ;is frustrating.
Physically, how do you feel after a complicated end to last season ?
One match a week, I keep up the pace, I'm in good shape (smile). More seriously, I have no pain, no problems. It’s a complicated period tennis-wise. We have to wait for things to change in the right direction for me.

Is this your first dry spell ?
I had already fallen back in the rankings for other reasons in the past. I did not sufficiently anticipate the extent of the physical injuries on a mental level, and the effects it had on my game. I finished it # 39;last year 70th, without necessarily playing very well, with a little pain. Deep down, I thought it was going to be resolved. But it’s always complicated, reality has returned. You have to face it and leave. It will take as long as it takes.
