“That's how I love you”: François Létourneau and Patrice Robitaille will direct the final season

The series “Comme ça que je t'aime” will be back for a third and final season, which will take place in the summer of 1976 when Huguette Delisle will seek revenge by all means. The actors François Létourneau – also the author of the three seasons – and Patrice Robitaille will direct the last eight episodes. 

Radio-Canada confirmed Monday that filming will begin next May with, in the main roles, Marilyn Castonguay, Sophie Desmarais, Karine Gonthier-Hyndman, François Létourneau and Patrice Robitaille.

François Létourneau and Patrice Robitaille, who are starting to direct, thus replacing Jean-François Rivard and Robin Aubert.

The new plots will also star Catherine de Sève, Patrick Drolet, Chantal Fontaine, Richard Fréchette, Charlotte Le Bon , Noémie Leduc-Vaudry, Alexis Lefebvre, Sébastien Rajotte, René Richard Cyr and Jocelyne Zucco.

The last season of this cult series will be offered on ICI TOU.TV EXTRA during the 2023-2024 season.

Synopsis of the final season

Here is the synopsis provided by the production : “Summer 1976. Sexism is back in Sainte-Foy as Montreal organized crime maintains an iron grip on the city. Huguette Delisle has lost everything; she is only a shadow of herself. Quebec's biggest criminal has traded the rifle for the apron. Will Huguette dare to plunge into crime again to save her honor and fight the ambient machismo? Can she count on the help of Gaétan, Marie-Josée, Micheline and Serge? Together, will they have the courage to go to Montreal, in this Olympic year, to track down the invader? But above all: will they finally find love?”
