The agreement in principle rejected by the employees of the SAQ

Warehouse workers at the SAQ rejected 86% on Monday the tentative agreement reached last week. & nbsp;

some 800 unionized workers gathered in a general assembly on Monday to be presented with the agreement, the terms of which have not been disclosed for the moment, before rejecting it.

“We had an agreement , but it was refused by the members. We will meet tomorrow morning with the executive committee of the union to determine what our next actions will be. Obviously, we will also contact the employer, ā€¯commented Michel Gratton, union advisor for the Canadian Union of Public Employees, in a brief statement.

It was not clear, in the immediate future, if the unionized workers intended to resume their pressure tactics, including their strike.
