Trois femmes du territoire ont reçu des prix et trophées lors de la cérémonie de remise des prix qui a eu lieu au siège de la chambre des métiers et de l’artisanat de l’Hérault.
The competition is aptly named as it reflects the talents emerging from the department in the field of artisanal innovation.
With Artinovart’s, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts (CMA) of Hérault – its Lunel president Christian Poujol and the president of the economic commission Jean-Claude Nadal in the lead – brings to the forefront women and men from the region who combine excellence and modernity.
A jury of economic players, media, elected officials and artisans
During the awards ceremony for the 14th edition, which took place at the CMA headquarters on Thursday June 6, the Lunel agglomeration community was more than represented since the verdict of the jury – composed of & economic players, media, elected officials and artisans – rewarded three local professionals out of the thirteen who were decorated that evening.
Three prizes to be awarded to women given that there are, in addition, three women who gathered the laurels and collected the honors this year among the three hundred candidates at the start and the fifty-four registered on the home stretch. A bonus all the more welcome as this vintage included, for the first time, the special Lunel Agglo prize.
Recognition of know-how
Frédérique Domergue received the trophy in the “Metier d’art” category. The craftswoman and artist from Lunel was able to convince with her works and contemporary art furniture. Where metal mixes with oxidation; raw materials to his imagination.
Always in the town of Pescalune, it’s the biscuit factory Le Petit zeste – dear to its entrepreneur Dominique Faveur – and its savory and sweet variations of the little cake which delighted the palates, thus winning the favorite of the jury and, in the process, the Special Prize of Lunel Agglo.
The talents of the Lunel lands
A few kilometers from here, in Saint-Sériès, Alizé Seckler, wall builder by trade within her company Terre Pierre Bâti 34, was able to convince with her achievements and renovations of the heritage, in stone essentially dry, the jury awarding her the special prize “Woman of the year”.
A winning trifecta which has, once again, reinforced the observation that the lands of Lunel are home to know-how which highlights craftsmanship in general and local craftsmanship in particular.
