The Audrey series has returned sold in France and Italy

UPGRADE DAY

The Quebec series Audrey is back has just been bought by two major players in Europe: Canal + in France and RAI in Italy. Written by Guillaume Lambert and Florence Longpré (who also plays the main role of Audrey), the series tells the story of a young woman who wakes up from a coma that has lasted 16 years.

“It's really encouraging for TV here,” Guillaume Lambert told Journal. It may inspire creators who have not yet managed to carve out a place in the industry to persevere. »

In addition to having seen their broadcasting rights acquired by these two European channels, Audrey is back was also the first Quebec series to be selected at the 5th Canneseries earlier this year, postponing the Dior Grand Prix and the special interpretation prize to the entire cast.

“It also shows that a good story is universal and can travel , continues the creator and filmmaker. In full promo for my movie Niagara, I couldn't be happier and prouder.

Audrey is back also stars Josée Deschênes and Denis Bouchard as Audrey's parents.

  • The Audrey series is still available on Club illico. It will also be broadcast on Télé-Québec starting September 29 at 9 p.m.
