Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Ziziphus became the first semifinalists of the 107-th draw of the Australian Open.
For the Rafael Nadal match with American sensation Francis Tiago turned into an easy walk – the Spaniard spent on the court less than two hours, and allowed his young opponent to win only nine games. Nadal for the sixth time in his career and for the first time in 2017 reached the semifinals in Melbourne.
On the way to the victory, Nadal made four breaks, never lost his serve, he served 11 aces, made 29 winnersof with 23 unforced errors.

Sensational offender Roger Federer Stefanos Zizipus in four sets went to Roberto Bautista-Agut and at the age of 20, became the youngest semifinalist of the tournament the Australian Open in 2003, when the semi-finals came already retired American Andy Roddick.
In the first set Zizipus bounced back from the account 1:3, but in the second game Grek quickly lost his serve at the reception never made it to the break points. In the third set Bautista-Agut again led to a break, but in the end Seth twice lost her serve. In the fourth game the players got to the tiebreak where Zizipus took four points at the reception and easily ended the match in their favor.
Stefanos Zizipus in case of victory in the semi-final against Rafael Nadal staked a place in the top 10 of the ATP ranking.
