The balance sheets of daily COVID-19 in Quebec will resume on Monday, announced minister of Health Christian Dubé on Twitter.
Saying listen, he made the announcement Friday afternoon.
“We’re listening : as of Monday, the publication of balance sheets daily about the evolution of the COVID1-19 will resume. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our government has always been transparent. We will continue to be,” he assured.
“People are concerned about and it is listening. It was never a question of hiding information. We économisait the time of publication,” said the national director of public health, Horacio Arruda, a few minutes after the minister’s announcement.
On Thursday, Dr. Arruda defended the new strategy weekly, explaining that she had to allow a better vision of the evolution of the pandemic in Quebec.
However, it caused a discomfort among some specialists and doctors. Others thought that a weekly review lacked transparency.
